Must be 18 years of age or older. You must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Candidates are required to pass written and physical exams, through the Camden County Fire Firefighter One Program. Random drug screenings and background checks are also required. The Junior Fire program gives youth members between the ages of 14-17 a first hand experience on what it physically and mentally takes to be a proactive firefighter. Participants will receive fire service training under high ranking officers supervision. The program is designed to give participants beneficial experience, discipline, and knowledge that can apply to any career field.
